I am Arman Mahmud, started my Career in Merchandising from December 2006. So far it’s been a very good journey for me and I have enjoyed every part of it. I believe, right now merchandising is one of the best professions in Bangladesh.
From the beginning of my career, I am working very hard and started thinking about how to improve the process we are working around. So, I started writing this blog from 2010 to let the world know about my thoughts and experiences in apparel merchandising, as well tips & tricks that may help people to join this great profession.
Let me tell you some about me…
I am a business graduate majoring Finance and Marketing from North South University, Dhaka. Rather working only in my desk, I have tried to understand peoples working in this trade. In this regard my education helped me to communicate better with different level of peoples; as well it helped me a lot to have the idea of costing and to develop the buyers and suppliers. Joining business meeting abroad also helped me to be more matured as a Merchandiser. Early in my career, I have worked as Factory Merchandiser and now doing Marketing to get the orders. Right now, I am with a leading Knit Composite Textile in Bangladesh working as Asstt. Manager Marketing.
