"To take this opportunity we have to train our workforce to turn them effective hands, otherwise we will fail to hold on the market," he said.
He said the government should come forward either with financial support to the garment exporters or it can take urgent steps for improved training of the RMG workers.
"If we come to power we will take steps in this direction," he said adding, the BNP is the party for development of the country and its birth is for development.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the 9th Chittagong Apparel Fabric and Accessories Exposition at the Gymnasium Ground of MA Aziz Stadium in the city this afternoon.
Presided over by BGMEA president Abdus Salam Murshedy the function was addressed by former state minister and BNP leader Jafrul Islam Chowdhury MP as the special guest, BGMEA First Vice President Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Vice President Shafiqul Islam Mohiuddin, Liaquat Ali Chowdhury and SM Abu Taiyab.
Khosru, who is also adviser to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, said the market of RMG was the buyers' market up to the recent past but it has now turned to be the sellers' market.
"Until the recent past we were dictated by the buyers but today we will dictate them. We must continue to be so by leading the industry through a properly formulated guideline without further delay," he said.
