Viyellatex Group, countries leading apparel manufacturer has once again set an example as responsible business to the society. The export-oriented apparel maker has set up an IT Lab on Dhaka University (DU) campus at Tk 50 lakh - a bright example of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The IT Lab is equipped with 30 computers and broadband Internet.
On 16 May 2010, at a function DU Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique has launched the information technology (IT) lab. Chairman of Viyellatex Group K. M. Rezaul Hasanat and Chairman of the department Khondoker Bazlul Hoque among others were present at the programme.

The Viyellatex chairman said his company will continue its efforts for the development of the country's education sector.
