The IT Lab is equipped with 30 computers and broadband Internet.
On 16 May 2010, at a function DU Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique has launched the information technology (IT) lab. Chairman of Viyellatex Group K. M. Rezaul Hasanat and Chairman of the department Khondoker Bazlul Hoque among others were present at the programme.

The Viyellatex chairman said his company will continue its efforts for the development of the country's education sector.
