Bangladesh clothing show in London

The Bangladesh Apparel Industry is arranging its first ever supplier exhibition “Bangladesh Clothing Show” in London, UK for February 23 and 24, 2011. On December 21, 2010 at a press launching event the show was declared by S M Shameem Iqbal, Chairman, KDS Accessories Limited. The clothing show is being jointly organized by GenX UK Limited and ALLIANT, in collaboration with KDS Group, Bangladesh.

The UK has been one of the leading target markets for Bangladeshi suppliers and London is of high economic and fashion importance, since buyers from all around the world source mostly from there. Through this clothing show, the Bangladeshi suppliers hope to build a platform of convenient access and opportunity, as well as promote the Bangladeshi culture to world. 

Bangladesh Clothing Show 2011 could be the right choice for the exhibitor to meet face-to-face with the UK and European buyers, who regularly source new, quality and competitive products, and gets connection to pursue their passion for excellence of order delivering. This show will be a wonderful way of showcasing the artistic and innovative skills of Bangladesh clothing industry and its role in serving the lifestyle that evolves to meet the tastes of daily as well as fashion enthusiasts in the UK, Europe and beyond, which will assist to elevate the Bangladesh clothing industry to a new level.

This is a long-awaited-dream-come-true for many Bangladeshi suppliers and they are hoping that the success of this event will have a strong positive impact on the garments sector of Bangladesh.

This event is supported by the Government of Bangladesh, Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh (EPB), Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exports Association (BKMEA), Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) and Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC). The show will have international support from Bangladesh High Commission, London, co-association from Diamond World Limited, Ahand and Persona, while the media partners are ICE Media Limited, Canvas and Channel-I.
