BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association) is going to organize its 21st edition of Bangladesh Apparel and Textile Exposition (BATEXPO-2010) scheduled to be held from November 25-26-27, 2010 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh. A good number of apparel buyers, buying house representatives, trade body representatives and other related traders from home and abroad will visit BATEXPO-2010.
Last year (2009) around 140 apparel buyers and 2016 foreign & local buyers’ representatives visited the expo from different destination of the globe.
BATEXPO is a platform where apparel makers and agents can avail the opportunity to exhibit their products and services to attract the foreign and local buyers for further business development.
Huge Campaign for BATEXPO-2010
To attract the Foreign Apparel Importers, this year BGMEA has decided to make huge publicity in order to attract them to visit BATEXPO-2010, M. Fasihur Rahman, Secretary General of BGMEA circulated an email in this regard. He said, BGMEA are contacting directly with the apparel importers of different countries to visit BATEXPO-2010. Bangladesh Missions abroad are also making contacts with the apparel importers/traders/buyers of the respective countries to visit the Fair.
Stalls Are Available
The stalls of BATEXPO-2010 will be available for the members of BGMEA, manufacturers of Knit, Sweater, Woven garment items, Manufacturers of Woven and Knit Fabrics, Manufacturers of garment accessories (local and foreign). Besides, some stalls will be available for Service Organizations like Shipping lines, Airlines, Courier Services, Bank and Insurance, Garment Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, Business information services, garment related Machineries etc.
It is expected that Sheikh Hasina, Honourable Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh will grace this annual prestigious event of BGMEA and to inaugurate BATEXPO-2010 on November 25, 2010 at 11.00 a.m. as the Chief Guest. On the other hand Begum Khaleda Zia, Hon'ble Leader of the Opposition in the Jatiya Sangshad is expected to attend as the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony on November 27, 2010.
All Are Invited to BATEXPO-2010
You are cordially invited to participate in the BATEXPO-2010 to explore your products before the Apparel Buyers, traders and representatives. The stalls will be distributed on “first come first serve basis”.
Interested BGMEA members are requested to fill up the Stall Allocation form available in BGMEA office (members already received through mail) and submit it to BGMEA along with full amount of stall rent in the form of DD/Pay Order in favour of BGMEA by July 30, 2010.
